LOCATION & ADDRESS

Address:

Almagerbakke 28, 3660 Stenløse

~25 km. from Copenhagen, Denmark

It is a hut used primarily by scouts. There are two big sleeping-rooms (27 spots & 18 spots), and 5-6 other rooms for sleeping.

FOOD & ALCOHOL

Food is part of your ticket.

It is allowed to enjoy alcohol at the game. There is NO purchase on our part and we trust that you as a player will not bring a liquor cabinet.

We DO NOT want drunk players, and if you can't handle it, we encourage you not to drink. Alcohol is really not essential to this game, but we are also aware that a glass can add flair and set a mood.

We will remove any player from the game who is too drunk to play or harms the interior or other players.

LOTTERY & FLAGGING

There will be a flagging-process after you've signed up, and the sign up closes.
Casting will then happen using lottery and flagging.

We have prepared this PDF, which contains all information needed.

If any questions arise, please feel free to send us an email.

The Grimm Auction larp

SETTING

“The Grimm Auction" is an annual event for faes, where the Unclaimed Humans are brought by the fae The Grim to The Crystal Palace. The palace serves as a meeting point for both The Above and Underrealm fae. Here, the humans are auctioned off to their forever-owner, and for the fae it is a glorious game of fate, privilege and shame. For example, a human who was a general in their human life may give a fae the privilege of running for general of their court. Yes, power in Underrealm is very much about which human the fae owns. That's why humans must be tricked, that's why they must be owned!

The scenario is set in the present day, the Unclaimed are humans who have traded with fae, and the fae that gather at The Crystal Palace are the elite and most important. The fae each belong to one of three courts:

  • The Summer Court
  • The Winter Court
  • Court of the Gray.

The summer and winter courts live in Underrealm, the magical realm of the fae, while Court of the Gray lives in The Above, the human world, hidden from humans but present. These fae of gray are of course looked down upon by the other two courts. But the gray fae are fae after all, and nonetheless, and therefore, they must be treated with some kind of respect.

The Grimm Auction is really about the transfer of power from The Summer Court’s regent Irisa to The Winter Court’s regent Umbra, but this has become mere formality, because it's the unclaimed humans that really entice all fae. The fate of a fae can change drastically by owning the right - or wrong! - human.

The Grimm Auction is a scenario focused on the story. But there is no requirement that your character’s story has to end well. In fact, we encourage the opposite – play to lose. It will be an experience like no other, and we hope to see you there.
